WE travel back over the last 30 years or so to the days when Worcester YMCA was based at Henwick Road in St John’s.
The youth and community organisation occupied the large, gothic former orphanage building and functioned for many years as hostel-style YMCA accommodation before operations were restructured.
The YMCA eventually moved out of Henwick Road in 2019 having been based there since 1957.
