A POLICE officer alleged to have misused police systems to find out information about someone they knew is set to face a gross misconduct hearing.
PC Ryan Clarke will appear before a West Mercia Police misconduct panel on Wednesday, July 15, and Thursday, July 16, facing allegation of discreditable conduct, and of breaching confidentiality and integrity.
Clarke is alleged to have misused systems to access information pertaining to an associate on multiple occasions in 2022 and 2023.
If Clarke is found to have committed gross misconduct, he is at risk of being dismissed from the force and barred from working for any other police force in the future.
The hearing, chaired by deputy chief constable Damian Barratt, will take place at Hindlip Hall, near Worcester.
