Met Office forecasts ‘fresher week’ after humid start to September

THE Met Office has forecast a fresher week with bright spells and showers.

It said Tuesday, September 15 would start cloudy with rain across the West Midlands, moving south during the morning.

The afternoon is forecast to be drier and brighter, with a chance of showers.

The maximum temperature will be 21C.

Showers will continue in the northwest in the evening, spreading southeast.

It will become cloudier overnight, with a minimum temperature of 8C.

On Wednesday, September 16, winds will ease but showers will continue across the region but will be lighter.

Temperatures will be around average for September, with a maximum of 19C.

Looking ahead, Thursday, September 17 will be wet and windy, but conditions will become more settled by Friday, September 19.

Westerly winds will develop with the odd light shower, and temperatures will be near normal.
