Man found guilty of installing secret camera and taking indecent photos of child

A MAN has been found guilty of installing a secret camera in a Worcester bathroom and taking indecent photos of a child.

Daniel Gaffney, 42, was convicted of two counts of voyeurism and two counts of taking indecent photographs of children.

The jury found Gaffney guilty of installing equipment in a bathroom and recording a person doing a private act without their consent and for his own sexual gratification between June 2022, and August 2022.

He was also found guilty of taking four indecent photographs of a child between the same period.

Gaffney, of Richmond Drive, Lichfield, will be sentenced at Worcester Crown Court on July 31.

As part of his bail conditions, the 42-year-old is banned from entering Worcester unless he is attending court or meeting with his solicitor, cannot contact any child under 16, and must live and sleep at his home address until sentencing.
