Fly-tippers who dumped huge pile of rubbish blocking road “have no morals”

A COUNCILLOR said fly-tippers “obviously have no morals whatsoever” after a large pile of rubbish was left roadside in a village.

A large pile of rubbish was dumped on Withybed Lane in Inkberrow, blocking one half of the road.

Wychavon Councillor Ben Hurdman, who represents Inkberrow and surrounding villages, said: “It’s just really disappointing to be honest, we have seen so much of it in the last few years, especially in the countryside.

“Inkberrow and the surrounding villages have had so much fly-tipping, it’s really disappointing.

“Because there is no CCTV, people think they can get away with it.”

Cllr Hurdman added that the culprits have no morals, due to the effect their actions have caused on the villagers and surrounding wildlife.

“It’s terrible,” he added. “A lot of people go to a lot of effort to make the area we love such a pleasant place to live.

“These instances really hurt the environment for humans and animals. It’s a disgrace really.

“The people who are doing it obviously have no morals whatsoever.”
