Images reveal the construction progress on a new Aldi supermarket in Stourport.
Photos shared by Drone Media show the progress being made on the former Minerva Point building on Worcester Road in Stourport.
The demolition of the building started earlier this year after plans were approved to build the town’s first Aldi.

The low-cost supermarket giant submitted an application to the council back in 2022.
Despite objections from rival supermarkets Tesco and Lidl ahead of the meeting, councillors concluded that the scheme’s benefits outweighed the concerns and approved the plans in March 2025.
A spokesperson for Aldi said: “We’re pleased to have received planning permission to bring an Aldi store to Stourport and are grateful for the significant local support.

“Once open, the store will create up to 40 jobs and help local people shop and save closer to home. We will keep the community updated on developments.”
