A mentoring programme is now open for business owners looking to take their company to the next level.
Mentoring Worcestershire, now in its seventh year, offers six months of personalised support by matching entrepreneurs with experienced business owners.
The scheme has already supported 102 businesses across the county, helping them build confidence, strengthen leadership, and develop effective strategies.
Adam Kent, deputy leader and cabinet member with responsibility for finance, corporate services and business at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Running a business can be demanding, particularly in a challenging economic climate, and having an experienced person to offer fresh thinking and help map out the next steps can make a real difference.
“Mentoring Worcestershire is practical business support at its best.
“Over the past six years, it has helped 102 local businesses overcome obstacles, strengthen their leadership and build more confident and resilient organisations.
“By bringing together experienced mentors and ambitious business owners, we are helping Worcestershire businesses turn good ideas into sustainable growth.
“I would encourage any business owner ready to take their next step to apply.”
The programme has become a proven platform for positive change, with mentees consistently reporting increased confidence, stronger business strategies, and renewed focus.
