Jeremy Clarkson, 66, has revealed a ‘struggle’ as a new statement is issued.
The former Top Gear and Grand Tour host lives on Diddly Squat Farm near Chadlington, which is the setting for hit Amazon series Clarkson’s Farm.
Alongside the show he also presents ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ on ITV and writes a number of columns.

In The Sun this week, he has spoken out on the Lucy Letby case, revealing his “struggle” in relation to it.
His interjection comes after a new statement was issued by the Letby Inquiry, which was launched in 2023 in the wake of the former nurse’s multiple convictions for murder and attempted murder of infants at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

It revealed that the deaths of three babies at the hands of Letby could have been prevented if police were called in sooner.
Letby, from Hereford, who maintains her innocence, is serving 15 whole-life terms for the murders of seven babies and attempted murders of seven others by various means between June 2015 and June 2016.
She was twice denied permission to appeal against her convictions in 2024.
Mr Clarkson said: “I struggle with this case because for every report which says she is definitely guilty, there’s another which says she’s not.”

Recognising that the jury at her trial was convinced, he said that from her mug shot she doesn’t look like a “wrong ‘un”.
He said: “Harold Shipman. Peter Sutcliffe. Fred West. Ian Brady. Myra Hindley. All of them look like killers. But Lucy Letby? She just doesn’t.”
The column was shared by another Oxford resident, Peter Hitchens, who called it: “Unscientific but welcome.”
