National Trust property among hundreds affected by power cut

MORE than 400 properties, including a National Trust property, were left without power during a major outage.

National Grid said 428 properties had lost power in Hanbury near Droitwich, shortly after midday on Wednesday (June 10).

This included a postcode covering popular National Trust site Hanbury Hall.

The power supplier said the issue had been caused by a “fault on the high voltage power lines” and said that engineers were on the way.

By 1.45pm, power had been restored to most homes in the area.
