A MOTHER from Malvern said it was “overwhelming” to see the community rally together for an event in memory of her son.
More than 70 vehicles, including tractors and Land Rovers, rumbled through Malvern and Madresfield to mark one year since the death of Harry Moss, 14, who died in a farming incident off Blackmore Park Road in April 2025.
It was the second time a convoy of tractors had paid tribute to the teenager, known for his love of farming, fishing and rugby, with the first having taken place on the day of his funeral last year.
Once again, Andy Tipping of National Vintage Tractor Engine Club, was involved in organising the event.

Starting at Brickbarns Farm on Hanley Road, the tractors passed Madresfield Church, where Harry was laid to rest, a moment which his mother Hollie McMurray said was especially emotional.
“They sounded their horns as they went by,” she said.
“Harry can’t get to the tractors now but they came to him.
“It’s heart-warming knowing how loved Harry was. The tractors still give me goosebumps.”
The event then moved to Madresfield Club, where there were various events and refreshments on offer, with proceeds going to Midlands Air Ambulance.
Even before the event, Miss McMurray said the amount of prizes being donated for the raffle was “overwhelming”.
So far, the amount raised has reached more than £4,000.
“I definitely didn’t expect that we would raise that much,” Miss McMurray said.
“It can be stressful organising an event like this but when you raise that amount, it makes it all so worth it.”
Steve Howells of Madresfield Club said the club was “delighted” to have been involved in the event.
“It was such a sight to see so many people turn up and a dinosaur in the sunshine and to have so many vintage tractors in the car park was a pleasure.
“The fundraising items such as tombola, raffle and cakes was a huge success.
“We have to say a huge thankyou to Chris Bennett of Hayswood farm for allowing us to use his farm for all the overflow of tractors and Land Rovers.
“We would like to say thank you to all the volunteers involved. Car park attendants, emptying of the bins, stall staff, bar staff, cleaning staff and many more to say thank you to.”
