A COUNCIL has issued an important warning about an item you shouldn’t put in your bins.
Malvern Hills District Council shared a reminder with residents over fears about items causing fires in bin lorries.

The authority has urged people not to place batteries in their household waste and recycling and instead take them to a Household Recycling Centre.
“Batteries and small electrical items placed in bins can cause fires in bin lorries, putting crews at risk and causing damage to our communities,” a council spokesperson said.
