THE RSPCA has relaunched an appeal for information over a video of an animal being hit, thought to have potential to have been filmed in Worcestershire.
The animal welfare charity has renewed its appeal to track down a man who may have information about a video appearing to show a ferret being repeatedly hit and harmed through rough handling.
In the charity’s previous appeal, it added that the ferret appears to be bitten in the footage.

RSPCA Animal Rescue Officer Freya Lamb, who is investigating for the charity, said: “We’re asking anyone who recognises the man in the pictures to contact us. We’d like to speak to him as we believe he may hold vital information.
“We’re not sure where the video was taken although it’s thought to be either Worcestershire or Devon.
“The footage, which we’re not able to share, shows the ferret being repeatedly harmed so it’s important to us to find out what happened, and check on the wellbeing of the ferret involved.”
The RSPCA is asking anyone with information on the incident to contact its Inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018, quoting reference number 01720902.
