A Droitwich man has been banned from driving after he was caught more than 12 times over the drug-driving limit.
Sean Dineen, 62, of Waveney Road, admitted to driving with a proportion of a controlled drug above the specified limit, driving without due care and attention, and speeding on a motorway at Staines Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (September 24).
Dineen drove a Nissan Qashqai on the A3 at Cobham, Surrey, on May 16 while his blood contained 636 micrograms of benzoylecgonine, a breakdown product of cocaine, per litre.
The specified limit for Benzoylecgonine is 50 micrograms per litre.

Dineen also admitted driving without due care and attention and speeding on the M25 between junctions 11 and 10 on the same day.
Dineen was disqualified from driving for 24 months.
The court also imposed a 12-month community order, and he was ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work.
