An iconic homeware brand is closing all of its stores in days, according to reports, and offering a closing-down sale so customers can snap up last-minute bargains with prices from just £2.
Denby, known around the world for making crockery including plates and mugs, entered administration this year and will close all of its UK stores as a result.
An increase in costs has caused the pottery company, which has been going for more than 200 years, to struggle financially.
The firm is Derbyshire-based and was founded in 1809, 217 years ago.

Denby hosts closing down sale this week
Customers have a few more days to grab a bargain as the Denby stores, including its flagship store, Denby Pottery Village, will close this week, The Sun reports.
Prices for items are as low as £2, with some bundles being available for £6.
Seven weeks ago, Denby told its Instagram followers that it would be reducing the cost of its items with “savings of at least 50%” available on a variety of items in its outlet stores, “while stocks last.”
The flagship store will be open from 9am until 5pm daily this week, with trading set to cease on Sunday, August 30 at 4pm.

All other stores will also close at the same time on Sunday:
As the stores close, around 600 jobs will be lost.
TikTok user @beckpyne shared a tour of the Denby Pottery Village with countless sale signs and varied discounts across products such as mugs, plates, bowls, teapots and more.
Some signs read “everything must go” while others shared how much customers could save, including 40%, 50% and 60% off items.
Denby will continue to trade under a different name, Tony Wright, joint administrator of the Denby group of companies and partner at FRP, has explained.
What happens when a company goes into administration?
Discussing the closing stores, Tony said it’s a “sad moment to see the Pottery Village close after so many years”.
He hopes the firm will get the “send-off it deserves”.
Denby will still exist with a new ownership, he assured customers and fans of the firm.
He said: “While the stores are closing, the Denby brand itself will continue under new ownership, ensuring its legacy lives on.”
