AUGUST Bank Holiday weekend is one of the busiest weekends of the year.
The long weekend is packed with events across the county, including music festivals, car shows and town-wide celebrations.
Here are five Worcestershire events and attractions to enjoy this August Bank Holiday weekend:
Sunshine Music Festival
Location: Upton-upon-Severn
When: Thursday to Sunday
Sunshine Festival is arguable the largest music events held in Worcestershire every year.
The family-friendly festival features multiple stages, major headline acts, camping, food and drink vendors, children’s entertainment, market stalls and workshops.
For its 17th year, the big-name acts for the event include JLS, Tony Hadley, and The Proclaimers.
Thousands are expected across the weekend.

Pershore Plum Festival
Location: Pershore
When: Saturday to Monday
The award-winning Pershore Plum Festival returns for the August Bank Holiday weekend, celebrating the town’s historic connection to plum growing.
Visitors can enjoy live music, artisan markets, food stalls, cookery demonstrations, gardening exhibits, family entertainment and cultural activities.
The festival culminates in a major town-wide celebration on Bank Holiday Monday.

Pershore Abbey Classic Car Show

Taking place alongside the Plum Festival, the Pershore Abbey Classic Car Show showcases more than 700 classic vehicles on the abbey grounds.
The event attracts motoring enthusiasts from across the country and features vintage, heritage and specialist vehicles, resulting in one of Worcestershire’s largest annual classic car gatherings.
