A WARNING has been issued to residents in Pershore after a spate of break-in attempts were reported.
Police said they have received eight reports of break-in attempts in the town in just four days.
A perpetrator has reportedly been approaching parked cars and trying door handles, before leaving when they find them locked.
On one occasion, they did successfully break into a vehicle on St Andrew’s Road and made off with a small amount of cash.

Police believe the incident took place at 3am on Thursday morning (April 16).
They have said that each of the incidents shows a “similar pattern of behaviour” and have described the suspect as a man on his own, wearing a dark coat and dark bottoms, and riding a dark-coloured push bike.
West Mercia Police said officers are “actively investigating” the reports but residents have still been advised to stay vigilant.
“We understand these reports are concerning for residents and we would like to reassure the community that officers are aware and actively investigating,” said PC Juggins from the Pershore Safer Neighbourhood Team.
“I would like to remind residents to take simple steps to protect their property.
“Always lock your vehicle, even when parked at home, avoid leaving valuables, cash, or bags on display, choose well lit parking areas whenever possible and report any suspicious behaviour to the police.”
