SPRING has finally arrived with woodlands across Britain beginning to erupt in blue thanks to the seasonal return of bluebells.
Some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes owned by the National Trust host this brief, breathtaking spectacle — and now is the moment to catch it at its peak.

Spring is making itself known across Croome Court, near Worcester.
Parts of its parkland have begun to fill with the colour of the season, in particular bluebells, around the grounds and by Church Hill.
The site is also home to a walled garden for those who wish to see more of the springtime flowers on display.
Hanbury Hall

Hanbury Hall, near Droitwich, not only has bluebells but also some that have appeared lilac rather than the deep blue that is often associated with the flowers.
The range of colour is because flowers often go deeper in colour as they mature, and some are also influenced by light and growing conditions.
Hanbury Hall also has an orangery, orchards, and a walled garden for visitors to enjoy.
