A TAXI driver has appeared in court, accused of a sexual assault near Worcester city centre.
Adnan Sajjad, 35, was flanked by a custody officer as he appeared in the dock at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (July 28).

He has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of assault by penetration against a woman, following an alleged incident near St Paul’s Street in the early hours of Sunday morning (July 26).
Sajjad, of Dormington Road in Birmingham, spoke to confirm his name, age and address.
The case was adjourned, with the taxi driver to appear at Worcester Crown Court for a plea hearing on August 25.
He was granted unconditional bail.
