SEVERAL schools across Worcestershire have revealed they will be closed tomorrow due to extreme heat.
A total of five schools will be closed across the county as it braces for temperatures of up to 35 °C tomorrow (Friday).
The Worcestershire school closures are a result of the extreme heat.

What is a Health Heat Alert?
A new heatwave coming this week could cause a spike in deaths, health leaders have warned, with an Amber Heat Health warning being issued by the UK Health Security Agency.

It follows last month’s heatwave, which resulted in a red health alert being issued on two consecutive days, with many schools across the county closing.
The amber alert for the West Midlands will come into force on Wednesday and last until Sunday.
Issued by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), the warning (risk score 12) says the heatwave means significant impacts are likely across health and social care services due to the high temperatures.
