A young girl is struggling to sleep after two family dogs were stolen in Malvern.
John Loveridge said Louis, a one-year-old dachshund, and Milo, an eight-year-old Saluki greyhound, were taken from outside his horse-drawn carriage near the Three Counties Showground on Wednesday night (October 14).
He had been visiting his partner in Malvern while the incident took place, and returned to find the two dogs had gone.

“I went out to see my partner in Malvern, and when I came back they’d been clipped off their leads,” Mr Loveridge said.
“I was really distressed. I’ve already got anxiety so that didn’t help.”

He said his daughter Harper-Rose was especially upset to learn that Louis was gone as the dog had helped to improve her mental wellbeing.
The five-year-old is said to have been so distressed that she couldn’t sleep or go to school the following day.
“The dachshund is my daughter’s dog for comfort for her autism and anxiety,” Mr Loveridge said.
“My daughter did not sleep all night, and I couldn’t even send her to school because she was so anxious.
“It affects her big time.”
Meanwhile, Milo has been with Mr Loveridge since he was very young.
“I just really want them back,” he said. “The greyhound I’ve had him since he was a baby and he’s part of the family.”
It is believed that the dogs were taken between 9pm and 9.30pm, and it has been reported to the police.
