A HUGE live-streamed auction with millions of pounds worth of property going under the hammer is in its second day.
Two houses in Worcestershire are among around 300 properties due to go under the hammer in the two-day sale.
One is an end-of-terrace next to the River Severn in Worcester which had a guide price of £40,000 but sold for £124,000 after a fierce bidding war yesterday.
The vacant three-bedroom home at 193 Hylton Road, which shows signs of neglect, was Lot 35.
The new freehold owner, known only as ‘Mr H’, will need to carry out a programme of renovation work after seeing off counter-offers as the price rose.
“Well done Mr H, you fought very hard for that one and you won it,” he was told by auctioneer Andrew Binstock.

Also up for bidding was a ‘shell’ house close to the High Street in Stourport-on-Severn town centre, which had a guide price of £65,000.
Located at 18 Lickhill Road, interior pictures show the property is a building site, with rooms and walls having been stripped out during the work.
The freehold went unsold when the house featured at Lot 58 yesterday in the event run by Auction House London.

The remote-bidding-only sale is well under way today with tens of millions of pounds worth of properties having been sold.
In total, there are 309 Lots, although some have been withdrawn before the live-stream.
The auctioneers have an active database of around 150,000 buyers and promise to deliver “fast, transparent and highly effective results”.
