Worcester Cathedral is set to host a special pet blessing service celebrating beloved animals, with a particular focus on service animals.
The service will take place at 11am on Saturday, August 22, and will last around 30 minutes.
All pets and their owners are welcome, with the cathedral providing additional seating for human worshippers and a designated area for smaller animals.
The cathedral said “all creatures, great and small” are welcome, provided they have “a well-behaved owner”.
Visitors are invited to bring their pets along for what promises to be “a joyous and uplifting” service.
