Long-lost songs will take centre stage at the Gilbert and Sullivan Concert in Malvern this September.
Three rediscovered pieces written for Iolanthe will be performed at the concert on Saturday, September 12, at Malvern Theatres.
The songs were uncovered by researcher Marc Shepherd in the British Library.
Mr Shepherd said: “Lost Gilbert and Sullivan songs aren’t often discovered; finding three at once is like sighting a unicorn.”
These songs have been unheard since the 19th century and include a comic song, a solo, and a quartet with chorus.
