SPORTS Direct has announced that it will close its store in Evesham – here’s when.
The sports retail chain will leave Bridge Street in October, according to signage posted in the shop’s windows.
Sports Direct on Bridge Street is currently holding a closing down sale.
Frasers Group, the company behind Sports Direct, has been approached for comment.
Why is Sports Direct Closing on Bridge Street in Evesham?
Whilst the official reason has not yet been revealed. Sports Direct is possibly shutting up shop due to the ongoing Riverside Project, which will see the entire Riverside Shopping Centre flattened and transformed into a new residential, retail, and leisure project.
