A WORCESTER school has launched a nursery that will allow pupils to stay for ‘all through’ education to post-16.
Tudor Grange Primary Academy Perdiswell, part of the Tudor Grange Academies Trust, will welcome its first cohort of pupils aged three and above in September 2026.
The new provision means children will be able to access continuous education from nursery ‘all through’ to sixth form within the Tudor Grange Academies network across Worcester.
Oliver Norman, principal of Tudor Grange Primary Academy Perdiswell, said: “My vision for the nursery is to provide high-quality, teacher-led provision, supported by our extensive facilities, wonderful forest school, and strong teaching expertise.
“It’s a natural extension of the fantastic work our Early Years team already does in Reception.
“Our nursery children will enjoy a smoother transition into Reception, with an important focus on early reading and developing a love of stories.
“It will also help us to build strong, early relationships to support those crucial first steps for children and families from the very start of their school journey.
“We have a successful, happy environment here at Perdiswell and I am so pleased to be able to share it further.”

The nursery is located next to the school’s forest school, giving children access to outdoor learning in a dedicated natural environment.
The forest school has been designed to encourage exploration and play, fostering curiosity and creativity.
Outdoor learning has been shown to benefit early childhood development by improving balance, coordination, resilience, and self-regulation.
It also supports lower stress levels in young children and helps nurture creativity and confidence.
The Perdiswell school community has welcomed the opportunity to offer early education in a setting that prioritises play, social development, and school readiness.
With its focus on storytelling, early reading, and outdoor learning, the new nursery aims to give pupils the best possible start in education.
Tudor Grange Primary Academy Perdiswell is part of the Tudor Grange Academies Trust, which includes 13 academies across the Midlands.
The trust’s long-term goal of providing all-through education —spanning nursery, primary, secondary, and sixth form — is now a reality with the opening of the Perdiswell nursery.
Mr Norman said he looks forward to welcoming the first nursery cohort and giving more children the chance to thrive in the Tudor Grange learning community.
