A NATIONAL Trust site has revealed when work to build its new playground will start and finish.
Croome Court’s plans to build a play area as part of its wider “Operation Park, Play and Explore” scheme are set to commence soon and it is asking visitors for their views.
Overall, the project will improve the visitor experience, including a revamped arrival area, conservation work and a new orchard-themed play space.

The National Trust said it will relocate the play area closer to food and drink outlets, toilets and seating, with a design inspired by nature and the historic landscape.
When will National Trust start work on Croome play area?
Installation of the new play area is currently scheduled for January to late spring 2027.
A spokesperson for Croome Court said: “If you’ve been on site recently, you’ve probably seen the work that’s underway to bring some exciting changes to Croome.
“One of these changes is going to be a new play area, and we’d love to hear your thoughts.”
The wider project also includes car park improvements, a new visitor welcome building, repairs to the White Bridges and conservation work on the roofs of Croome Court.
