At the Evesham centre of Dogs Trust, five very special dogs are patiently waiting for a second chance at happiness.
Each has their own personality, quirks, and story—but all share one thing in common: they’re ready to find a loving forever home.
🐾 Mario – The Little Explorer with a Big Heart
Mario (Image: Dogs Trust)
Mario is a seven-year-old Jack Russell Terrier with a huge personality packed into a small frame. While he may feel anxious around new people at first, once he trusts you, he absolutely loves affection and companionship.
He’s looking for a calm, adult-only home where he can feel safe and secure. Mario enjoys peaceful adventures, car rides, and exploring quieter locations. He’ll need patient adopters willing to visit him a few times before taking him home—but the bond you’ll build will be worth it.
✨ Best suited for: Experienced owners who can give him time, patience, and continued training support.
🐾 Sidney – The Playful Young Lurcher
Sidney (Image: Dogs Trust)
Sidney is a one-year-old Lurcher who has blossomed from a shy stray into a cheeky, lovable character. His personality is now shining through, and he’s known for making people smile with his playful antics.
Though still a little wary of new faces, Sidney is friendly and can live with sensible secondary school-aged children. He’s eager to learn and has already done brilliantly with training.
✨ Best suited for: A home ready to guide a young dog through the basics and enjoy plenty of fun along the way.
🐾 Daisy – The Clever, Sensitive Charmer
Daisy (Image: Dogs Trust)
Daisy is a medium-sized crossbreed with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Beneath her energetic and playful exterior lies a sensitive soul who needs understanding and patience.
She would thrive in a quiet, adult-only home where she can be the only pet. Daisy loves walks, learning new tricks, and sniffing out new adventures. With the right support, she’s already showing how clever and loving she can be.
✨ Best suited for: Someone who can give her time to settle and continue her confidence-building journey.
🐾 Coco – The Sweet Senior Snuggle Companion
Coco (Image: Dogs Trust)
Coco is a nine-year-old French Bulldog who’s spent her whole life in a home and is now looking for a new one through no fault of her own. She’s currently enjoying life in a foster home but is ready to settle down permanently.
This gentle girl loves fuss, comfort, and cosy sofa time. She can live with other dogs (especially smaller ones) and older children, making her a wonderful companion for a relaxed household.
✨ Best suited for: A calm home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by love.
🐾 Tobias – The Gentle Golden Oldie
Tobias (Image: Dogs Trust)
At 11 years old, Tobias is a Labrador Retriever cross with a sensitive nature and a love for life’s simple pleasures—like sniffy walks and a good game of fetch.
He’s looking for a quiet, adult-only home where he can be the only pet. Tobias may take a little time to build trust, but once he does, he forms strong bonds. Despite some age-related stiffness, he still enjoys staying active and exploring.
✨ Best suited for: Patient adopters who appreciate a slower pace and want a loyal companion.
