A “kind and loving” man has been named as the person who was found near the river in Worcester.
Dom de Sousa was just 28 when he died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 28. His cause of death remains unconfirmed but police have said it is not being treated as suspicious.
His family and friends have paid tribute to him, saying he was well-known in the city and was “loved by all”.
Having been born in East Timor, Mr de Sousa grew up in Worcester, later going on to work at Sainsbury’s in Blackpole and Stoneworks Installations.

“He was my brother. Not one day went by where he didn’t have a smile on his face.
“He was loved by all at his favourite gym. A very special man indeed, a beautiful soul gone way too soon.”
