A 24-hour DJ marathon is being held in support of St Richard’s Hospice.
Steve Descher, a local DJ, will be hosting the event from 2pm on Saturday, May 2, until 2pm on Sunday, May 3.
Taking place at The Feathers Sport & Music Lounge, the event will see Mr Descher playing an uninterrupted stream of soul music in an effort to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
The venture is very personal to Mr Descher because his brother was cared for at St Richard’s Hospice before passing away.
This experience has left a lasting impression on Mr Descher and his family.
Now he has opted to use his passion for DJing to give back to the community, hoping to create an uplifting event while supporting a cause close to his heart.
