A POPULAR beer festival is returning to Worcester this summer.
The Worcester CAMRA Beer, Cider and Perry Festival will take place from August 13 to 15 at the Grandstand on Pitchcroft racecourse, following a successful event in 2025.
Bill Ottaway, festival spokesman, said: “The Grandstand offers the festival a fantastic setting overlooking the Worcester skyline and offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, providing the best beer garden in Worcester for the duration of the festival.”
Visitors can look forward to more than 100 local and national tipples, including over 50 ciders and perries—16 of which are fruit ciders, representing seven counties and 15 producers.

Fruit and grape wines, prosecco, food vendors, and live music will also be on offer.
This year’s theme is strong ales (ABV over 6.5 per cent).
The festival will host the CAMRA Regional Strong Ale and Barley Wine competition, and a special festival ale.

The ale is being brewed by Grinbull Brewing, a new nano-brewery based in Worcester, and will feature Worcester plums in a dark ale with an ABV of around 7 per cent.
For those who prefer something lighter, there will still be more than 90 lower-alcohol ales to try, including low and no-alcohol options.
Evening entertainment will include live music, with Malvern band Rock the Night headlining Thursday playing rock, pop, alt rock and indie.
‘Fred Zepplin’, voted among the top ten best live bands to see, will headline on Friday, while Saturday will feature a double headliner for an indie vs Britpop showdown.
Food options will include burgers, Punjab Street food, various wraps, Cornish pasties, and jacket potatoes.
Organisers are encouraging people to purchase tickets in advance to guarantee entry, as a reduction in the number of CAMRA festivals in the region is expected to increase demand.
Discounted tickets and further details are available on the festival website: festival.worcester.camra.org.uk.
