Worcestershire charities are being encouraged to apply for funding to help transform green spaces.
National Grid Electricity Distribution’s Community Matters Fund is offering grants of up to £5,000 to support projects that promote biodiversity, improve public access and create more inclusive and enjoyable green environments.
Laura Bartle, National Grid Electricity Distribution’s head of environment and sustainability, said: “As environmental challenges continue to grow, protecting and enhancing green spaces has never been more important.”
Applications close at 5pm on Friday, June 26 and more information is available through Localgiving’s website.
