WHAT began as a simple idea for a Malvern man has quickly grown into a thriving business which aims to make a real difference to people’s lives.
Launched earlier this year as Pooper Scoopers UK and now rebranded as ScoopMaven, the dog waste management service has seen remarkable growth since opening in January.
Customer numbers have increased by more than 300 per cent in the last three months alone, driven largely by word-of-mouth.

While the nature of the work often raises a smile, owner Callum Witt, who grew up in Powick, says the service provides far more than convenience.
The 29-year-old said: “People often laugh when they hear what I do but many are surprised to learn just how valuable the service can be.”
A large number of ScoopMaven’s customers are elderly, disabled, managing health conditions or balancing busy work and family lives.
For many keeping gardens clean and safe can be physically challenging or difficult to find time for.
The service helps remove that burden, providing peace of mind and a cleaner outdoor space for both owners and their dogs.
Mr Witt continued: “The biggest surprise has been seeing how much of a difference we make to people.
“For some customers, it’s not just a convenience. It’s a service they genuinely rely on.”
As demand continues to grow, ScoopMaven is now exploring opportunities to create jobs and invest back into the community that has supported its success.
The business is also becoming a familiar face at dog-related events across the county with several shows planned throughout the year.
The next event will be the Tewkesbury Dog Show where people can learn more about the service and meet the team behind the business.
Mr Witt added: “Worcestershire is a place I’m incredibly proud to call home.
“The support we’ve received has been fantastic and if sharing our story helps more people discover a service that could make their lives easier then that’s a success in itself.”
ScoopMaven has a website and the company can be emailed at hello@scoopmaven.co.uk.
