A FAMILY business is set to open a new store in Worcester that the city centre has never seen before.
An aquarium shrimp business will open on The Shambles later this month after more than a decade in St Johns.
Peter Sobotka and his family will be expanding Best Aquarium Shrimps UK from St Johns after more than a decade.

Best Aquarium Shrimps UK will offer a range of neocaradina and caradina shrimp, including rarer colour morphs such as snowball, galaxy red, red tiger orange eye, and more.
Mr Sobotka said: “We will be opening our first store on The Shambles on September 12.
“It is a family business, and we have been running a shrimp farm next to our house in St Johns for the last 11 years.
“It has been really good, and we have been selling online, but now we want a public shop as we have been growing and we want to expand.

“We are going to be offering a huge amount of shrimp, plants, and aquarium essentials.
“In the future, we might look at starting to offer small fish species that are compatible with shrimp.
“So far, the reaction has been largely positive, and we have had many people interested.
“They are happy that we are opening something new and something different that is not a barbershop.

“To be honest, we are a little bit nervous, but more excited and ready to welcome everyone.”
Best Aquarium Shrimps UK will open on September 12 at 32 The Shambles at 10am.
