A care home is helping the community take steps towards safer living.
Elgar Court Care Home in Malvern is hosting a free falls awareness and prevention event on Tuesday, July 28, starting at 11am.
The event, a RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Falls Awareness and Prevention event, will be led by Sarah Cadwallader, senior general manager at Barchester.
The session will cover a range of safety topics, including how to spot fall risks early, tips for making the home safer, and practical strength and balance exercises.
Attendees will receive a RoSPA Falls Awareness certificate.
Ms Cadwallader said: “We’re pleased to be able to support the local community with this event, it’s so important that everyone gets the help they need so we can all create a safer environment for everyone.”
Elgar Court Care Home is part of Barchester and has been recognised with RoSPA’s National Fall Prevention trophy.
