A Worcester nursery is part of the largest nursery group to achieve a top first aid accreditation.
Worcester Royal Day Nursery and Pre-school, part of the Partou group, has earned Tigerlily Training’s Platinum Accreditation.
This is Tigerlily’s highest standard and recognises excellence in child safety and emergency preparedness.
Partou, which is based in the Netherlands and operates more than 100 nurseries across the UK, is the largest provider to achieve the group-wide award.
Karl Cobane, learning and development manager at Partou, said: “We’re thrilled that all Partou nurseries have been awarded Tigerlily’s Platinum Accreditation.
“It’s a testament to our teams and the strong bond we’ve established with Tigerlily in delivering the best possible first aid training.”
The accreditation follows Partou’s decision earlier this year to appoint Tigerlily as its approved paediatric first aid training provider.
Tigerlily, established in 2004, trains more than 100,000 learners each year through a nationwide network of more than 120 training venues.
Partou staff receive both in-person and online refresher training to keep their skills current.
Families at Partou nurseries have also been given the chance to learn basic first aid under the guidance of Tigerlily professionals.
Amber Parr, founding director of Tigerlily Training, said: “We’re incredibly proud to see every Partou setting achieve Tigerlily Platinum Accreditation.
“It’s a fantastic achievement and reflects the commitment of their teams to maintaining the highest standards of first aid and emergency preparedness.”
Kirsty Jackson, co-managing director at Partou, said: “Congratulations to our UK teams on making Partou the largest day nursery provider to achieve Tigerlily Training Platinum Accreditation across every setting.
“The safety and wellbeing of the children in our care will always be our top priority, and there is no room for complacency.
“Our rolling programme with Tigerlily enables our teams around the country to keep their first aid skills fully up to speed and ready to respond to any emergency.”
