A man remains in a critical condition several weeks after a serious assault in Stourport.
Detectives are renewing their appeal for information following a serious assault in Stourport on Friday (October 2).
West Mercia Police said they were called to Sandy Lane Industrial Estate at around 1.30pm following a report that a man had been assaulted.
The 20-year-old victim was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition several weeks after the incident.
Officers believe a number of motorists and members of the public were in the area at the time and they might have driven past or witnessed something that could assist with the investigation.
Police said the impact of the incident on the man’s loved ones has been “devastating”.
Detective Inspector Chris Dee said: “Our thoughts remain very much with the victim and his loved ones. Several weeks on, he is still in a critical condition in hospital, and the impact this incident has had on those closest to him has been devastating.
“We know there were people in the area at the time who may have seen something or driven past without realising the significance of what they witnessed.
“Even the smallest piece of information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could prove vital in helping us understand exactly what happened.
“I would urge anyone who was in the Sandy Lane Industrial Estate area around 1.30pm that day to think back carefully. If you have dashcam footage, CCTV, mobile phone footage, or remember seeing anything unusual, please get in touch.
“Your information could make a real difference to our investigation and help provide answers for a family facing an incredibly difficult time.”
