An SUV has been seized by police after it was used in illegal hare coursing.
Officers recovered the Honda CRV after it crashed into a ditch during an incident and was abandoned.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: “The Kempsey & Alfrick Safer Neighbourhood Team have recovered a vehicle after it was used in connection with illegal hare coursing.
“We remain committed to tackling rural crime and behaviour that causes distress to our farming communities and landowners. If you witness suspicious activity in rural areas, please report it to us.”
What is hare coursing?
Hare coursing involves setting dogs upon a hare, with the dogs tracking the prey by sight.
Coursing requires large, open spaces for the hare and dogs to run in, which makes agricultural land in Worcestershire popular with illegal poachers.
It is most common on land shortly after crops have been harvested, but it also happens when crops have recently been sown, or on fields left to grass.
