Richard Hammond, 56, is set to receive a near £4m boost after several court cases.
The former Top Gear and Grand Tour star is set to share almost £4 million with his former wife Mindy after they separated following over two decades of marriage.
Mr Hammond, who was in Oxfordshire last month, will receive the windfall as he and his former partner close down the TV production they co-owned, called Hamster’s Wheel Productions.
A Declaration of Solvency document, published last week on Companies House, reveals that the firm has £2.3 million in cash and is owed £1.45 million.
In addition it is able to recover £176,573 from the government for corporation tax payments.
The Sun reported that the company had been involved in a variety of hit programmes including BBC kids’ gameshow Blast Lab and the climate series Wild Weather.

According to reports, Mr Hammond initially moved out of the family’s home near Ross-on-Wye after the split and spent time living in rented accommodation before beginning a new chapter of his life in Wales.
When announcing their divorce, the pair stressed they would remain a family.
Mr Hammond said at the time: “A little update from us; this Christmas we were together as a family, and this year we will still be a family but just structured a bit differently.
“Our marriage is coming to an end, but we’ve had an amazing 28 years together and two incredible daughters.
“We will always be in each other’s lives and are proud of the family we created. With Love, Richard and Mindy.”

Since then, the much-loved television presenter – who made his name alongside Oxfordshire farmer Jeremy Clarkson and James May in Top Gear – has endured some turbulent times.
He has been involved in two separate court-related incidents, including a legal dispute connected to his motoring venture, The Smallest Cog.
The company, based in Hereford, admitted failing to provide information that could identify the driver of a Ford vehicle linked to an alleged offence.
As a result of the guilty plea at Worcester Court, the court imposed a fine on the business along with a victim surcharge.
In August, it emerged that Mr Hammond was fined £999 for speeding offences at the end of 2025, around the same time he took control of the firm.
The TV star was at the wheel of a Porsche when he broke the speed limit on December 2 last year before he was caught out again just 20 days later while driving a Bentley.
West Mercia Police brought two prosecutions against Mr Hammond, putting forward the speed camera images of him driving the cars in Herefordshire to prove the offences.
