Rare American sports cars spanning 70 years to go on display at historic site

CAR enthusiasts are set to gather at a site formerly managed by the National Trust this weekend for a special celebration of one of America’s most iconic sports cars.

Coughton Court will be welcoming a Corvette showcase to its grounds on September 13, featuring an impressive collection of vehicles spanning more than 70 years of motoring history.

Visitors can see everything from classic 1950s C1 models to the modern C8 Stingray, highlighting the evolution of Chevrolet’s famous sports car since its debut in 1953.

A spokesperson for Coughton Court said: “Expect an impressive collection of Corvettes spanning the generations, with the chance to get up close, take photographs and chat to the owners about these incredible cars.

“Whether you’re a lifelong Corvette fanatic, an American car enthusiast or simply curious to see these legendary vehicles in person, there’s something for everyone.”
