CHILDREN can travel for free in August on a popular cross-county bus route.
Under the national ‘Kids Go Free’ scheme, DRM Buses is offering free travel for children throughout August on the 420A route, which connects Worcester, Bromyard and Hereford.
Adult fares remain at £2 per journey, helping to keep travel costs low during the summer holidays.
The offer is part of a wider national scheme and also applies to the Daffodil Line (232), which runs between Ross-on-Wye, Newent and Ledbury.

The scheme is billed as providing an affordable way for families to explore nearby towns and countryside during the school break.
The route also enables day trips further afield.
Travellers can use DRM Buses to connect from Worcester to Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye, Newent or Hereford, planning a full day out while keeping transport costs low.
