Jeremy Clarkson encountered a “serious problem” on a flight to his holiday.
The 66-year-old is taking his summer break in Italy this year with his Irish actress partner Lisa Hogan.
Taking to Instagram, Ms Hogan posted a video of the star enjoying a Ferrari rental car, which reminded the Chipping Norton farmer of his days on Top Gear and the Grand Tour.
But in a video posted to Hawkstone’s account, he revealed a problem mid-flight.

Mr Clarkson said: “We’ve got a serious problem on the BA flight to Brindisi. They’ve only put on four cans of Hawkstone on the plane, and I’ve got two of them.
“The stewards are telling me it’s an issue. They said we’re running out on every single flight.
“People are asking for it, and they just don’t have enough. And you just don’t want that kind of angst on an aeroplane. You want people calm and happy.”
British Airways will now be be serving Hawkstone lager, produced entirely from British barley made by UK farmers.
In an announcement on Instagram, Mr Clarkson said last month: “Farmers of the UK, good news.

“You know we buy your barley to turn into Hawkstone lager? Well British Airways, which is where I am now, is now serving that lager on their flights. I kid you not, they are.”
The deal is the latest in a long line of contracts being signed for Mr Clarkson’s Hawkstone brand.
It is now sold in Waitrose, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Marston’s pubs.
Hawkstone, named after a Cotswold stone, was announced earlier this year as the fastest-growing company in the region in the fourth annual Sunday Times 100 rankings.
