Tesco is urging millions of Clubcard members to check their accounts after revealing that more than half a million shoppers are sitting on at least £100 in unused vouchers.
The supermarket says more than 500,000 Clubcard members have built up £100 or more in unspent rewards, while over 95,000 shoppers have accumulated £200 or more without cashing them in.
The figures have been released as part of Tesco’s new “Know What You Are Sitting On” campaign, which encourages customers to check whether they have rewards waiting to be used.

For many shoppers, those vouchers could be worth even more.
Tesco Clubcard vouchers can be exchanged with more than 100 Reward Partners, with some offering up to three times their face value.
That means £100 in Clubcard vouchers could become £300 to spend at participating restaurants and attractions.

The supermarket believes many customers focus on saving money through Clubcard Prices, while forgetting that points continue building up in the background and are converted into vouchers.

Customers can open the Tesco app, tap the Clubcard section and instantly see how many vouchers they have available, along with any points that can still be converted into extra rewards.
If you’re just short of the reward you want, those unused points could help push you over the line.
Tesco says the app is also the easiest way to keep track of vouchers, coupons and personalised offers, with more than 24 million UK households now including at least one Clubcard member.
With hundreds of thousands of shoppers unknowingly holding £100, £200 or even more in rewards, it could be worth checking your account before your next shop – you may already have enough saved for a meal out, a holiday discount or a year’s worth of Railcards without spending another penny.
