Global communications group backs art trail for hospice

A Worcestershire creative agency is backing a hospice fundraiser to bring a new art trail to life.

Hartlebury-based communications group DRPG is the latest organisation to support Peter Rabbit™ in the Warrens of Worcester, a Peter Rabbit-themed sculpture trail set to take over the city in summer 2027.

The project, organised by St Richard’s Hospice, builds on three hugely successful trails in 2018, 2021 and 2024, which raised £1.2million combined for the charity.

Dale Parmenter, CEO of DRPG, said: “Worcester’s art trails are fantastic events for the county and for a really brilliant cause, so we are very proud to be playing a part once again.

“We look forward to contributing to what is sure to be another unforgettable summer and something for us all to look forward to in 2027.”

The company, which played a key role in the hospice’s giraffe, elephant, and penguin trails, will also act as an official supplier for the trail.

A DRPG rabbit sculpture will be brought to life by an artist’s design and auctioned at the end of the project to raise funds for the hospice.

Sara Matthews, business development manager at St Richard’s Hospice, said: “We’re excited to have our friends at DRPG on board as a partner and official supplier once again after their wonderful support for the giraffes, elephants, and penguins.

“We can’t wait to get working with the team again to bring some more magic to our much-loved art trails.”

The 2027 trail will feature 35 large rabbit sculptures and 40 smaller sculptures, which will be decorated by schools and community groups and displayed through city shop windows and Chapel and Friary Walk Shopping Centres.

Schools and community groups interested in taking part can register via the trail website at warrensofworcester.co.uk/learning-programme.

Peter Rabbit™ in the Warrens of Worcester is supported by Presenting Partners Chapel & Friary Walk, DRPG, Worcester BID and Worcestershire Ambassadors, and Media Partners the Worcester News and BBC Hereford & Worcester.
