RINGGO payments have returned after a global outage affected car parks in Worcester.
Worcester City Council warned that users were experiencing issues while trying to use the payment app, which is available in many of its car parks, on Thursday (July 16).
“We were aware of issues affecting the RingGo parking app nationally earlier today,” a spokesperson said.
“We are pleased to report that these have now been fixed and RingGo is taking payments as normal.
“If you experience any parking-related issues, please visit Customer Services at the Guildhall, where staff will be happy to assist.”

Global outage of web services
The issue arose during a global outage of Amazon Web Services, which is used a large number of online platforms, including RingGo.
Amazon Web Services confirmed at around 1.20pm on Thursday that the issue had been resolved.
