THE Bull Ring Chippy sign has gone down as Cod City prepare to move in.
The former site of Bull Ring Chippy at 4 St Johns, now has signs for the incoming restaurant Cod City.
The restaurant, which also has a Birmingham branch, initially put up signs in the window advertising the type of food they would have on offer, with one reading: “Hello Worcester… Coming Soon!!!”

Cod City’s Birmingham branch, based at 95-97 Baker Street, Birmingham, offers a variety of Halal dishes with options including: BBQ doner meat and chips, chicken fillet burgers, small cod and chips, deluxe naans and paninis.
Bull Ring Chippy had been operating from the location last year until the former owner – listed as Lohia Muskan on Companies House – put it up for sale on businessesforsale.com, citing visa rule changes as her reason for selling.
It had been a fish and chip shop for almost 25 years, while Miss Muskan had been running it for six months at the time of putting it on the market.
