A COFFEE shop is thriving two months after being reopened by a husband and wife duo who first met there more than a decade ago.
Expresso Stop, one of Evesham’s newest businesses, is going from strength to strength after opening at Evesham Railway Station in February.
Opened by husband and wife duo, Agata Wiosna and Mike Krukovsky, the pair say that hearing old customers share their memories of the original café has been incredibly moving.
The pair first met at the original café 17 years ago whilst both were working as café assistants in Evesham.
Mrs Wiosna, who also operates Thermomix Cooking Studio on Bridge Street, said: “We’ve poured our love and energy into every detail in the space of the café, from the décor to the music, so our visitors feel they are at home.
“We want future generations to know the station as more than just a stop. It’s a place full of laughter, heritage and warmth.
“I used to work here 17 years ago and met my husband here. It’s a romantic story, and we’re so excited to bring it back to life.

“Our vision is to celebrate Evesham’s local growers and create a space that instils pride in the community and is somewhere people will want to come back to time and time again.
“It was heart-breaking to see such a beautiful station in a charming town lacking a place for commuters to enjoy fresh coffee and pastries. We knew we had to change that.”
The ‘delicious’ cakes and pastries are all homemade, and the coffee is freshly prepared by Mrs Wiosna’s family, according to the business owner.
Expresso Stop opened on February 20 and has since been ‘buzzing’.
Following the success of Expresso Stop, Mrs Wiosna has also revealed her intention of opening a sister café in Moreton.
