Warning after suspicious caller incident in town

A COLD caller has raised concerns after approaching a resident and offering unsolicited services.

The incident happened on Biddulph Way in Ledbury at around 10am on September 9.

A middle-aged man with dark hair, wearing a grey or dark puffer jacket, knocked on a resident’s door and tried to persuade them to have work done on their property.

When challenged, he then asked if he could buy the resident’s car.

West Mercia Police have reminded residents to be cautious of cold callers and to ask for identification if they answer the door.
