Hundreds of homes in Worcestershire without electricity following multiple power cuts

Hundreds of homes in Herefordshire and Worcestershire are without electricity after multiple power cuts have hit both counties.

National Grid has reported that 930 homes have been hit by three outages today (Sunday).

The biggest outage has seen 267 properties between Knightwick, Worcestershire, and Bromyard Downs, Herefordshire, left without power.

A spokesperson for the National Grid said: “There’s a fault on the high voltage power lines in your area, and we’re getting this sorted as a priority.”

Power has been restored slowly through the night and National Grid expects all homes to have their power restored by 2pm this afternoon.
