A teenager has been banned from driving after being caught speeding at more than three times the limit.
Musa Rafiq, 19, of Canterbury Road, Worcester, was recorded travelling at 98mph in a 30mph zone on the A4103 in Leigh Sinton, near Worcester.
He was convicted of dangerous driving at Worcester Magistrates’ Court last week and disqualified from driving for 18 months.
Court records show he was behind the wheel of a BMW when he was clocked speeding by an automatic camera device on Friday, February 20 this year.

Rafiq was also ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work and to pay £85 in court costs and a £114 victim surcharge.
West Mercia Police said: “West Mercia Police are committed to bringing those road users who think they are above the law to justice and we hope this serves as a warning to others of the consequences of their actions if they choose to act so recklessly.”
The offence took place in a residential area with a nearby primary school.
