She pleaded guilty to speeding at Worcester Magistrates’ Court, where she was fined £830 and given three points on her licence.

Moyes, of Glewstone, Ross-On-Wye, was spared a driving ban as she is a clinical lead in a mental health unit, that she argued could close if she was unable to drive, putting 50 jobs “at risk”.

She was also ordered to pay £130 in costs and a £332 surcharge.
